Bret Andrews, DO, was Associate Chief of Neurology at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland through January 2023 and now is a part time neurologist. Bret focuses his efforts primarily on advocacy for climate health policy with the physician and health professional groups like the SF Bay Area Physicians for Social Responsibility. He presents to physicians and policy leaders on the benefits of improving air quality and decarbonization/ electrification for climate health and health equity.

Larry Junck, MD, is Professor of Neurology, Active Emeritus status, at the University of Michigan Medical School. As a neuro-oncologist, he was head of the Neuro-oncology Clinic and director/co-director of the Neuro-oncology Program at the University of Michigan for over 20 years. He serves on the Editorial Board of Neurology and the Board of Directors of Michigan State Medical Society. As a climate activist, he serves on the Board of Directors of Michigan Clinicians for Climate Action, is active in Voices for Carbon Neutrality at University of Michigan, , and is founder and leader of the Michigan Medicine Climate Voices.

Ali Saad, MD, FAAN, currently focuses on food’s connection between human and planetary health policy at University of Colorado’s Climate and Health Program where he is currently affiliate faculty. He is board-certified in Neurology, Stroke and Lifestyle Medicine and has been practicing for over 15 years. Key leadership positions include: co-chair of the neurology interest group at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and board member at Greener by Default.  

Beth Malow, MD, MS, FAAN, from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, is Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, Director of the Vanderbilt Sleep Division, holds the Burry Endowed Chair in Cognitive Childhood Development, and
serves as Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs in the Department of Neurology. Beth is gaining expertise in communication science and has published on training climate advocates, including health professionals, in climate communication.
